The Intellectual Property Valuation webinar happens this weekend – March 27-28 – and Martin will talking about patent valuation techniques, the use of patents and other IP as collateral in funding and the securitisation of IP.

Martin is a regular speaker at CII events; he spoke on IP-backed lending at the 5th International Conference on IP Rights: Innovation and IP led Technology for a $5 Trillion Economy in New Delhi on December 2019. Following that, he was asked to help out with the CII training programme for IP valuation, delivering sessions during 2020.

This is his second OECD report; the first, Fostering the use of intangibles to strengthen SME access to finance, was published in January 2019.

Inngot’s mission is to help identify the value locked up in companies’ intellectual property and intangible assets and ways companies can be helped to access and leverage that value. It works closely with Government bodies in the UK and around the world, as well as with NGOs, industry and trade associations, and Intellectual Property Offices.

It also offers an award-winning suite of online tools to help businesses identify, manage and value their intellectual property and intangible assets alongside other services delivering IP valuation and technology evaluation services. In addition to the recent OECD report, Martin Brassell has also co-authored Economic Approaches to Intellectual Property, with Dr Nicola Searle (OUP, 2016), and reports and publications for the UK’s Intellectual Property Office (IPO) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), amongst others.
