You can now get an indicative valuation of the assets you’ve registered with Inngot, using the "Sollomon" methodology developed with specialist input from Grant Thornton UK LLP.
This easy-to-use online system has been designed to interface directly with your Inngot innovation and organisation profiles. It has been optimised for three particular situations:
- to help you devise appropriate strategies for IP exploitation;
- to support your discussions around equity investment, additional borrowing or other methods of fundraising;
- to inform your negotiations prior to entering into licensing or royalty-based arrangements.
Provided that you have an up-to-date business plan, you should have all the financial data you need to create your Sollomon valuation report. Once compiled, you can download it as a PDF file, or share it with colleagues and advisers via our keycode - protected verification service.
Peter Brewin, Director of
Concrete Canvas, recently used Sollomon as part of a Welsh Assembly Government-funded scheme. He said:
"The valuation process with Inngot was remarkably smooth and straightforward, especially given the number of variables in an IP valuation. This was in large part because of the excellent telephone support. The valuation we received tallied reassuringly closely with previous valuations we had already made and was extremely useful as an independent second source. I would therefore recommend Inngot to any firm looking to quantify the value of their IP assets."
Sollomon costs just £195 +VAT – a small price to pay for an independent assessment of your intangibles.
