Inngot appoints new NED
David Hulston, the technology strategist who founded QED Intellectual Property, has joined the board of Inngot as a non-executive director.
David is a seasoned angel investor and business-to-business technology specialist. He founded Scipher plc following a management buy-out from EMI, taking it to flotation on the London Stock Exchange.
David has particularly active in the IP licensing marketplace since the mid-1990s, founding QED in 1994. He took it from a blank sheet of paper to a world-leading provider of IP commercialisation and management services, with offices in the UK, USA and Japan. During this time he has also led a number of international mergers, acquisitions and disposals, including the purchase of yet2.com, the US-based technology marketplace.
David is an active angel investor with interests in a number of technology businesses. He is assisting the Inngot board with the company’s growth strategy, with a particular emphasis on international expansion. Inngot’s CEO, Martin Brassell, commented: “David is a significant addition to our senior management team - the experience he brings of technology licensing, together with his global connections, are helping us to identify new ways we can add value to our customers’ IP.”
